Removal Services
Sometimes the best brow result starts with removing what’s already there.
Not all previous work can - or should - be worked over.
If your brows or tattoo no longer feel right due to colour changes, shape, or oversaturation, removal is often the first step towards a better result.
At The Butterfly Effect, we offer both Laser Tattoo Removal and Hanafy Manual Removal, allowing us to choose the right approach for your skin and pigment.
Laser Tattoo Removal
Laser removal is most effective for breaking down darker pigments.
Using advanced Q-switched Nd:YAG technology, the laser targets pigment in the skin, allowing the body to gradually clear it over time.
Best suited for:
• Dark or cool-toned pigments
• Saturated or built-up brow work
• Body tattoos
• Preparing the skin for future PMU
Hanafy Manual Removal
Hanafy Manual Removal is a non-laser technique designed
to lift pigment from the skin using a specialised solution.
It is particularly effective for:
• Warm tones (red, orange, yellow)
• Residual pigment not responding to laser
• Lip blush removal
• Clients not suitable for laser
Safe for all skin types and suitable all year round.
Choosing the right approach
Some cases require more than one method.
We may use laser to break down darker pigment, followed by manual removal to target any remaining warmth.
Our role is to guide you towards the safest and most effective option for your skin.
Who is this for?
This treatment is suitable if you have:
• Uneven or poorly shaped brows
• Discoloured or colour-shifted pigment
• Over-saturated tattooing
• Previous work that no longer suits you
Removal creates a cleaner base for softer, more natural results.
Sessions and healing
The number of sessions varies depending on the pigment and skin.
As a guide:
• Brows: multiple sessions, spaced 6–8 weeks apart
• Body tattoos: longer treatment plans
We’ll create a personalised plan during your consultation.
